Pengaruh Terapi Latihan dan Massage terhadap Kasus Close Fraktur Humeri dextra 1/3 Distal dengan Pemasangan Skin Traction

Abstract
Fraktur tertutup (Closed Fracture) 1/3 distal dextra adalah fraktur yang patahannya tidak menembus kulit luar dan mengenai bagian sepertiga distal lengan atas. Fraktur ini merupakan fraktur ekstraartikular dan ekstrakapsuler (Stanley, 2011). Terapi yang diberikan berupa terapi latihan (hold relax, passive movement, active movement) dan massage dengan pemasangan skin traction.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh massage dan terapi latihan dengan pemasangan skin traction terhadap rasa nyeri pada kasus close fraktur humeri dextra 1/3 distal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adlah quasi eksperiment, tipe Pre and Post Test Design, yaitu mengkaji tingkat nyeri sebelum dan sesudah terapi diberikan. Populasi adalah pasien penderita fraktur humeri 1/3 distal yang dirawat di RS Othopedi Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta.
Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, yaitu sebanyak 8 sampel. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 1-31 Januari 2016. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala nyeri pada Visual Analoque Scale (VAS). Ada 3 kategori nyeri, yaitu nyeri tekan, nyeri gerak dan nyeri diam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hilangnya nyeri diam dan penurunan nyeri tekan dan gerak. Hal ini berdasarkan rata-rata skala nyeri pada VAS, yaitu nyeri diam, sebelum terapi sebesar 1,88 menjadi 0,00 sesudah terapi; nyeri tekan, sebelum terapi sebesar 3,50 menjadi 1,13 sesudah terapi; dan nyeri gerak, sebelum terapi sebesar 5,43 menjadi 2,43 sesudah terapi.
Perbedaan yang signifikan juga ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji t yang menunjukkan αhitung (0,000) < α(0,05), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti terapi latihan (hold relax, passive movement, active movement) dan massage dengan pemasangan skin traction berpengaruh terhadap rasa nyeri pada kasus close fraktur humeri dextra 1/3 distal.
