Abstract
Latar Belakang : Koreografi merupakan salah satu unsur penunjang dalam tarian yang seringkali memperlihatkan gerakan ekstrim atau bukan merupakan gerakan normal. Sama halnya dengan kegiatan olahraga, gerakan tari juga dapat menyebabkan sebuah cedera terhadap penarinya salah satunya musculoskeletal pain. Tiap-tiap tarian memiliki teknik dan gerakan yang berbeda, hal inilah yang akan mempengaruhi jenis dan lokasi musculoskeletal pain yang dirasakan. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian yang dilakukan berbentuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan responden sebanyak 50 orang. Responden didapatkan secara acak denagn teknik pengumpulan data sendiri berupa survei yang disebar dalam bentuk kuesioner. Hasil : Sebanyak 50 penari dhadhak merak yang menjadi responden mengalami keluhan musculoskeletal pain paling banyak pada area bahu dan paha belakang dimana sebanyak 41 responden (82%) melaporkannya. Kemudian pada punggung atas yang dilaporkan oleh 40 responden (80%). Dimana kategori nyerinya antara munculnya nyeri yang tidak mengganggu sampai dengan munculnya nyeri yang masih dapat ditoleransi. Kesimpulan : Keluhan musculoskeletal pain yang dialami oleh pada penari dhadhak merak banyak terjadi di area bahu pada kategori upper extremity, kemudian pada area paha belakang pada kategori lower extremity, dan di area punggung atas pada kategori neck and spine. Sedangkan untuk kategori nyeri yang paling sering muncul pada setiap area adalah kemunculan nyeri yang tidak mengganggu.
