Study Kasus : Penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi Pada Kondisi Varises Vena Tungkai Bawah (VVTB)
Case Study : Management Physiotherapy In Lower Limb Varicose Veins
Abstract
Varises tungkai bawah adalah kelainan pada vena akibat peningkatan tekanan vena yang dapat menyebabkan penonjolan kulit seluruh tungkai terutama tungkai bawah. Masalah pada varises tungkai bawah adalah nyeri, penurunan kekuatan otot dan penurunan aktivitas fungsional. Pemeriksaan fisioterapi meliputi pengkajian nyeri dengan Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), kekuatan otot dengan Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) dan kemampuan aktivitas fungsional dengan Foot and Ankle Disability Index (PADI). Dalam hal ini intervensi yang dipilih adalah Infra Red (IR) dan Terapi Latihan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen fisioterapi terhadap Varises Vena Ekstremitas Bawah (VVTB) dengan modalitas Infra Red (IR) dan terapi latihan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Bendan Kota Pekalongan dengan metode penelitian deskriptif analitik. Subyek penelitian ini adalah pasien dengan Varises tungkai bawah. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan autoanamnesis dan pemeriksaan fisik. Hasil penelitian antara lain: (1) terjadi penurunan nyeri, (2) terjadi peningkatan kekuatan otot, dan (3) terjadi peningkatan kemampuan aktivtias fungsional. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah intervensi fisioterapi dengan modalitas Infra Red dan Terapi latihan dapat mengurangi masalah yang timbul pada pasien dengan kondisi VVTB.
