Abstract
Cerebral palsy merupakan problematika motorik akibat dari lesi otak nonprogresif pada perkembangan otak yang mengalami gangguan. Pada anak-anak yang menderita Cerebral Palsy mengalami kerusakan pada otak yang bersifat permanen. Ciri Cerebral Palsy dengan tipe Spastic Hemiplegi yaitu ditandai dengan munculnya masalah pada anggota gerak atas dan bawah salah satu sisi tubuh. Intervensi yang diberikan pada kasus ini yaitu postural control exercise yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak untuk mengontrol posisi tubuh dengan tujuan stabilitas dan orientasi. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimental, desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Pre and Post Test. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. Pemeriksaan postur menggunakan postur assesment scale dan pemeriksaan fungsional aktivitas menggunakan form GMFM. Setelah dilakukan terapi selama enam kali sesi, didapatkan hasil adanya perbaikan postur dan peningkatan skor fungsional aktivitas anak walaupun tidak signifikan. Postural control exercise yang diprogramkan kepada pasien mampu memperbaiki postur dan meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional aktivitas anak.
