Pengaruh Aquatic Exercise Therapy dan Lari Terhadap Cardiorespiratory Fitness Pada Remaja
Differences Of The Effect Of Aquatic Exercise Therapy And Run On Cardiorespiratory Fitness In Adolescent
Abstract
Presentase penduduk Indonesia yang dikategorikan beraktivitas fisik rendah sebanyak 29,9% dari total seluruh penduduk pada tahun 2010, 31,9% laki-laki dan 27,9% perempuan. Dampak yang terjadi akibat penurunan aktivitas fisik seseorang yaitu meningkatnya resiko penyakit kardiovaskuler. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan cardiorespiratory fitness yang adekuat untuk mengurangi resiko penyakit kardiovaskuler. Cardiorespiratory fitness adalah kemampuan tubuh mengantarkan oksigen ke otot selama latihan .Salah satu cara meningkatkan cardiorespiratory fitness adalah dengan menggunakan Aquatic Exercise Therapy dan Lari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimental pre-test and post-test two group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2020. Pada Kelompok I didapatkan hasil p = 0,000 ( p < 0,05), disimpulkan ada pengaruh latihan aquatic exercise therapy. Pada Kelompok II didapatkan hasil p = 0,000 ( p < 0,000), disimpulkan ada pengaruh latihan lari, kelompok yang mempunyai different mean lebih tinggi yaitu kelompok aquatic exercise therapy dengan hasil 7,225. Ada pengaruh latihan aquatic exercise therapy terhadap cardiorespiratory fitness nilai p= 0,000 (p<0,005), (2) Ada pengaruh lari terhadap cardiorespiratory fitness nilai p=0,000 (p<0,005), (3) Aquatic exercise therapy lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan dengan lari dengan selisih mean kelompok I 7,22 dan kelompok II 2,94.
