Berjalan Tanpa Alas Kaki Lebih Mengaktivasi Otot Tungkai Bawah Dibanding Berjalan Menggunakan Sepatu
Barefoot Walking Activate Leg Muscle More Than Using Shoes While Walking
Abstract
Aktivitas berjalan merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia dalam melakukan transfer dan ambulasi, penggunaan alas kaki seperti sepatu dapat membatasi informasi sensoris pada reseptor sensoris tungkai bawah. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui perbandingan aktivasi otot tungkai bawah antara berjalan tanpa alas kaki dan penggunaan sepatu. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 100 mahasiswa jurusan Fisioterapi Politeknik Kesehatan Surakarta yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, yang telah ditetapkan. Subjek pada penelitian ini di bagi menjadi 2 kelompok, Kelompok 1 melakukan aktivitas berjalan tanpa alas kaki dan Kelompok 2 berjalan dengan alas sepatu, pada kedua kelompok tersebut diberikan surface electromyograph berupa myofeedback pada otot tibialis anterior dan gastrocnemius selama aktivitas berjalan, perekaman aktivasi otot tibialis anterior dan gastrocnemius dilakukan selama subjek berjalan lurus kedepan sejauh 5 meter. Rerata nilai aktivasi otot tibialis anterior lebih besar saat subjek melakukan aktivitas berjalan menggunakan sepatu dibanding tanpa alas kaki, sedangkan aktivasi otot gastrocnemius lebih besar pada kelompok tanpa alas kaki dibanding kelompok menggunakan sepatu, dengan nilai kebermaknaan p< 0.05. Berjalan tanpa alas kaki mampu mengaktifkan otot-otot kecil pada kaki dan otot-otot besar pada tungkai dibanding penggunaan sepatu.
