Abstract
Perkembangan industri batik di Pekalongan tidak hanya diindustri besar akan tetapi pada industri kecil menengah. Hal ini dipengaruhi adanya peningkatan permintaan pasar batik baik nasional maupun internasional. Dampak dari peningkatan tersebut menyebabkan beban kerja naik dan memunculakan masalah kesehatan jika tidak dilakukan preventif maupun promotif. Salah satu masalah yang muncul pada pekerja batik yaitu keluhan muskuloskeletal dan peningkatan beban fisiologi sehingga dapat menurunkan produktivitas pekerja. Upaya untuk meminimalisir problem tersebut ialah stretching dan slow deep breathing exercise. Penelitian ini bertujuan membantu menurunkan keluhan muskuloskeletal dan meningkatkan produktivitas pada pengrajin batik dengan pemberian latihan Active Stretchingdan slow deep breathing exercise. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian eksperimental, dengan menggunakan rancangan sama subjek (treatment by subject design). Jumlah subjek penelitan 24 orang.. Analisa data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Adanya penurunan secara signifikan pada keluhan muskuloskeletal dan peningkatan produktivitas pekerja batik pada sebelum diberikan intervensi (periode 1) dengan setelah intervensi ( periode 2). Latihan active stetching dan slow deep breathing dapat menurunkan keluhan musculoskeletal dan peningkatan produktivitas pada pekrja batik. Dibutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dan spesifik pada pekerja batik untuk lebih detail dalam penelitian selanjutnya.
